      • Adults and Young Adults - 100 yards maximum distance.
      • Youth - 50 yards maximum distance.

      • You can only shoot one class/style per event.
  2. Targets:

    • The targets will be 3D foam animals or 2D pin-on at the below sizes
    • Each target will have one or more orange dots at the below sizes:
      • 4-9 yards: 4 cm dot and no 10-ring
      • 10-19 yards: 4 cm dot and 12 cm 10-ring
      • 20-30 yards: 7 cm dot and 21 cm 10-ring
      • 31-60 yards: 10 cm dot and 30 cm 10-ring

  3. Shooting Positions:

    • A shooting stake will be present for each target and the true distance to the target marked at each shooting location.
    • The stake marks the shooting distance from the target and not a shooting point. Archers should shoot a safe distance from each other along this distance at the same time, if possible, to minimize shooting delays. To achieve this, draw an imaginary line through the shooting stake, parallel to the target. Straddle this line.
  4. Shooting Rules:

    • There will be a shooter meeting 1/2 hour prior to the start time.
    • Immediately following the meeting, each shooter will walk to his target assignment and wait for shotgun start.
    • Archers shall shoot as a group, lane width permitting.
    • If a distance has multiple 3D animal targets, the archer must shoot both arrows into the same animal.
    • For the 2D pin-on targets, the archer may shoot each arrow into a different animal.
    • Rangefinders and binoculars are permitted.
    • All arrows must be in the target to score. No bounce outs or glance offs will count. In the event of an obvious pass through, the archer shall receive the score witnesses and agreed upon by the other archers in that group or the arrow will be reshot.
    • No archer may go behind a target for a lost arrow, unless you can see it at time of scoring. Always keep at least (2) two archers in front of target to insure that no other group will shoot said target while you are retrieving your arrow.
  5. Scoring:

    • Your first target is for score. There is no practice target.
    • You will shoot from the designated stake.
    • Targets will be scored 11-spot, 10-kill and 8-wound. Pin-ons will be scored 11-spot and 10 for body hits unless marked otherwise. An arrow touching the line on any scoring ring takes the higher score. Exceptwith spots, arrow must touch orange. An arrow in any part of the animal scores.
    • Each group will designate one member in their group to call scores and two (2) members to record scores.
  6. Conduct

    • Un-sportsmanlike conduct, cheating and bullying will not be tolerated at any OAA event. This includes all hosting mail-in event locations.
    • A competitor and/or spectator not following the established tournament rules, improper conduct from the above stated rule will have an immediate action. Disciplinary actions from warnings to disqualifications are at the NFAA Director and/or Ohio Archers officer discretion after full review.

The preferred range layout included is for reference only and may not be achievable at the host range.
